| General comments? | First off let's get something straight: this review isn't of the woosey 135hp pre Y2K Celica. This review is for the Y2K version with the 180 ponies and 2500lb curb weight. The car is so different from its predicessor that it shouldn't even have the same name. Of the similar cars which I've driven in this price range (see list above), the Celica is by far the superior performer overall. If you are considering purchasing a low to mid $20k sporty car give the new Celica a test drive. | |
