| What things have gone wrong with the car? | The stupid advertising from Toyota if u ask me. I just hate the ketchup bottle ad. But seriously, the location of the R shift feels weird. I keep shifting into 6th, expecting it to go backwards. Sometimes I will also mix-up the 1st with the reverse, and maybe, just maybe - I'll hear it beeping. The Reverse Beep doesn't do anything 4 me. (Not when u're blasting rave tunes over the 8 speaker system :-). Needs a few more horses. I'd paid a few more G's just to be able to crank it beyond 133 MPH. Maybe air pressure | |
| General comments? | I downright like the car. Even when I paid much more than most guys here did. (Destination charges).It's no Acura NSX (best I've driven), but it's a reliable little car. Add *DIFFERENT* nice looks.Overall, u won't see many cars able to take on ur 00 Celica GTS on the street. Much less on 4L's under the $30K mark. Whoever says they can take a Lexus GSR, a Type R ACURA, or any Porshe in this car is giving u a bunch of BS.Shame about the SUPRA, I hear it will be labeled as a Lexus now, and ticketed like one. Someone check those Munroney labels out there and tell me plz. | |
