| | Model | Celica GT-S | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | -Steering and braking feels a bit muted at times-Interior plastic scratches with seatbelt-CD player occasionally skips-Sunshade slides back a bit with hard acceleration-Low end torque a little low, but is negated with a clutch-slip launch-People fight over who sits shotgun | | | | |
| | | General comments? | You don't just drive this car, you experience it. The Celica GT-S has proven to me that cars just aren't for getting to point A to point B, but from point A to points C,D,E,F,etc. then to point B with a SMILE on my face. I have often found myself leaving for work a good 20 minutes earlier to carve up a twisty road or at a deserted country road practicing a perfect launch. I've never doubted my purchase of this car. Note: the "falling out of VVTL-i during shifts" is BS by the way. An expericenced marginal driver (like myself) can do this easily. | | | Previous car | Integra GSR and Type R, Prelude, Eclipse GT, Civic Si (a little bit of a reach) |
